Joanne Meredith Nolan
1 East Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743 Professional Background
Joanne Meredith Nolan has more than 20 years sales and negotiating experience. Originally working in the photographic industry she spent years building relationships with both photographers and photo resellers in the northeast.
As a representative for a major photographic supply company she relocated through-out the country herself, so she's well versed in the emotions, logistics and financial sides of the buying and selling homes process.
Growing up Joanne's parents owned a motel at the Jersey Shore, so she grew up in a "customer focused" environment. She has always enjoyed working and building relationships with people.
Joanne has combined her sales skills and people skills to become a successful Full-time Real Estate Professional.
Personal Background
Joanne was born and raised at the Jersey Shore. After graduating from Rowan University in New Jersey with a Communications Degree she worked for a major photographic supplier. After several relocations she moved in 1993 to Huntington to make Long Island her home. Ten years later she moved to Centerport where she currently resides with her husband, James and their two children, 2 dogs and one cat.
Personal Interests
Joanne has a passion for the beach, skiing, football, Springsteen (she is a Jersey Girl, after all) and photography. She recently discovered fantasy football and can be found on any given Sunday morning during football season stressing over her line-up. During the summer she can be found early mornings at Robert Moses State Park - leaving before the crowds arrive - to hold open houses or take out buyers.
She is an avid New York Giants fan and a season ticket holder who probably gets a bit too emotional during the games!
Community Involvement
Joanne has been involved with the PTAs in the Harborfields School District since 2003. Her son recently graduated from Harborfields and she has a daughter in the High School. Joanne is currently the treasurer for the Harborfields High School PTSA.
Joanne is also an avid supporter of both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She served on the committees of her son's cub scouts and boy scout troops for over 12 years.
Joanne currently serves as a girl scout leader for her daughter's troop and is helping the girls work on their Gold Awards. In the past she served as the service unit cookie coordinator and organized the delivery and pickup of thousands of girl scout cookies.
Joanne also participates in area 5Ks to support local organizations.
